God can use you (Balaam) in His plans that will bless others(Israelites). God cause Balaam to be spirtual blind and God allowed the donkey to see the angel. God can use anything to get your attention when you are wrong. Donkey had to let him know that something was up because he had never act wrong before. Old donkey saved Balaam life. Balaam was greedy for the money but he realized that he has sinned
